Bianca is a development professional with a strong commitment to sustainable impact, women's empowerment, and inclusive development in emerging markets. Combining hands-on field experience with academic research and UN programme coordination, she brings both practical knowledge and a genuine passion for creating measurable change aligned with the SDGs.
She has worked as a Project Assistant at UNITAR in Geneva, supporting the coordination of UN capacity-building programmes on the SDGs and multilateral diplomacy, contributing to impact-driven initiatives reaching participants from 30+ countries. As a field volunteer in Nepal, she implemented an EU-funded child protection programme across 11 rural schools, reaching 200+ children and co-developing a Child Rights Manual adopted institutionally by local schools as a direct and lasting community impact. Her Master's thesis examined the labour conditions and wellbeing of female workers in Ethiopian foreign-owned industries, contributing to evidence-based impact assessment on gender equality and decent work in emerging markets.
Bianca speaks Italian, English, and Spanish, and is actively developing her French. She holds a Master's in Globalisation and Development Studies from Maastricht University and is committed to continuous learning and impact-oriented growth.
